This site clearly points out why we miss on the most basic things to clean. Also, what’s nice is that if you’re too bombarded with the mess and don’t know where to begin, it gives you an idea where to start.
Here is a site that focuses on the rooms and what to do with each. You are given tips on how to clean each area of the house and troubleshooting problems you would normally encounter.
The Japaneses’ 5s (sweep/shine, sort, sanitize, standardize and sustain) methodology basically sums this all up. Cleaning should not just be a one-time habit but a way of life in order to eliminate the great bulk in summer and spring cleaning.
